Internationally acclaimed sculptor Jeff Lowe studied at St. Martin's (1971-75). Taught by amongst others, Sir Anthony Caro, Philip King and William Tucker.
Lowe lives in London but spends part of the year working in Portugal where he has built a house and studios.
Lowe's first one-man show at the prestigious Leicester Galleries in London’s Cork Street preceded him representing Britain at the Paris Biennale. Exhibitions include Hayward Gallery and Serpentine Gallery and numerous one-man shows, recently at The Gallery, Cork Street, London.
Selected group exhibitions include Guggenheim, Venice, Ikon Gallery, Gallery Josine Bockhoven, Amsterdam, Robert Steele Gallery, New York, Bodo Niemann Gallery, Berlin, Waddington & Shiell Gallery, Toronto, Musée D'art Moderne Paris, and The National Gallery, Australia.
