Ian Parker

The work is inherently fractured and dispersed in terms of content and process.

Outputs take the form of painting, drawing, photographic works, installation and film works.

The territory explored involves a form of re-presentation of traces from both personal and public history.

In this context the production of artworks is entropically driven, a form of 'dredging' of the marginal and fragmented.

The constitutive elements of a work form questions and the narrative around this, in an embedded sense, is uncertain.
