Description
Generously supported by Arts Council England, this is the second leg of the Football Arts Prize. The exhibition was created to coincide with 2022 FIFA World Cup and UEF Women’s Euro 2022 played in Sheffield and across the UK.
The 50 shortlisted artists have depicted scenes of glory, defeat, passion and their own highly personal connections to the game.
Charlotte C Mortensson has two photographs in the show, and won third prize for her work. Both her images are from Trench Town, which is the home of two of Jamaica’s most successful football teams.
