“1969 was a landmark year for all sorts of reasons. Open University was launched; first man on the moon; St. Mungo’s, the homeless charity was set up in London and I was born on the 4th of July. To mark this milestone, I am hosting a solo exhibition and party at hARTslane on the 4th July where 50 light drawings of 50 states in the U.S.A. will be on show and available to purchase at £50 each. Profits from sales with will be donated primarily to St. Mungo’s to help alleviate homelessness in London and also supporting hARTslane to help them run experimental art exhibitions and outreach projects in schools and the community. “ Paul Tecklenberg

250 unique light drawings of the 50 states are now on Instagram paultecklenberg and you can buy them on the day by cheque or cash. If you can’t make the event but would like to support the fundraising project, email [email protected] subject ‘50/50/50’ and I will forward you my bank details and reserve the drawings for you.

hARTslane is an experimental art project space in South East London rooted in the local community with an international reach. This is a place where artists and local people come together to share ideas, explore contemporary issues and be inspired. www.hartslane.org/

St Mungo’s 17 outreach teams go out each night to meet people who are homeless and to help them off the streets. They offer a bed and support to more than 2,800 people across the south and south west every night. They work to prevent homelessness and support people to get off the streets permanently.
