Amanda Loomes LG will be showing a small artwork as part of groving which launches in Bury St Edmundson on Monday 15 August.
Artists have been asked to respond to the theme of Relic. Loome’s work ‘Wishful Thinking?’ comprises a piece of coal inset with a vintage miners’ strike badge.
Each day an artwork – less than 5cm square – will appear in a public space in Bury St Edmunds. Artworks will be accompanied by a new written work by a poet or author at groveprojects.org/blog
Each work will be photographed in situ and the location posted on Twitter @barbara_at_grove and Instagram @barbara_atgrove. People can enjoy searching for the works, move them, leave them for someone else to find, or take one home. If you find one post it #groveprojects.
