The latest exhibition by Genetic Moo LG is opening in Hull, Sat 24 May.

Microworld will run over two galleries: “The Cascade”, comprising The White Starfish, The Black Starfish, Animacules and Hector and the Sunstars is in Gallery 7. Each artwork has a webcam providing a live-feed background for the creatures to swim in and explore. Imagine a digital aquarium. The interaction in this room is gentle, with small actions creating reactions which spread from one screen to another.
Gallery 8 contains artworks of pure interaction: “Multiple” and “Magic Place”. Each uses a Kinect Sensor to convert the audience into coloured silhouettes. Multiple encourages full body movement and dance, building up complex colourful patterns in response to your moves. Magic Place is a box of tricks where touching emojis triggers a huge variety of playful interactions.
