Amanda Loomes’ latest film installation commissioned by the Forestry Commission is moving to a different forest.
Amanda Loomes’ latest film installation The Custody Code will be moving to Kielder Forest for the Autumn, 18 September – 1 December. For more information please visit
The project has been a number of years in the making and follows the life cycle of timber production from seed to sawmill, all told from the unique perspective of people who work in the industry. A sustainably sourced timber structure houses the films deep within the forest, providing an intimate and immersive experience. As well as the installation the forest has some beautiful walking trails and a cafe. All are welcome.
The work has been commissioned by the Forestry Commission to celebrate 100 years of forestry.
