Micheál O’Connell’s exhibition System Interference opens Saturday 17th September at 2pm at Uillinn, West Cork Arts Centre in Skibbereen.

Expect massive wind turbines, small ones, battery powered devices, motion sensors, pictures of cows, road bowling balls, Uillinn pipes, golf balls, inverted cars, plinths, screens, lifts, lighting, projectors, CCTV, insecurity guards and more.
Director of Cambridge Digital Humanities, Caroline Bassett and I will converse at 2pm on 17th. Something very special will be provided too by philosopher of aesthetics John Roberts. People will be going for a meal later, appropriately enough in a restaurant which was once a petrol station. That will be at 7pm in nearby Ballydehob.
