A 10 day celebration of people being creative with computers and technology in Margate organised by London Group members Genetic Moo.
This is the digital strand of the Margate festival which runs alongside the Turner Prize which is in Margate from October to January this year.

This 10 day festival includes work made by hundreds of local artists and makers. Engage with large scale collaborative interactive art. Try your hand at beginner electronics and creative coding and experience film, music, electronics, visuals and all things digital made by a growing local scene. Supported by Arts Council England, The Margate Festival and Dreamland. Organised by Genetic Moo in collaboration with The Margate School. Many of the makers will be present during the show.
Highlights include a 10m wide drawing robot, a digital animation coded and designed by all 220 Ramsgate Arts Primary School kids, a resident engineer building a digital Ukelele in a semi-dome and a horrific video game made by East Kent Mencap. There will be VR, AR, 3D printing, Arduino and Pi, Projection Mapping, Live-coding, electronica, electronics, sonic art, maggot brains, video games, interactives and every other digital thing that we can squeeze into the space.
Featuring an alternative digital universe “Turner Prize”.
There will be late events, talks, an Exploding Cinema and an Algorave.
