My practice explores boundaries and disconnections through time.
Working with ‘slow’ materials, including dust, hair and seeds, I create transient works which traverse socially constructed boundaries defining bodies and the environment. The processes I use can be painstaking and precarious resulting in fragile, often living works that require an ongoing process of tending and mending.
