David Wiseman won the RWS Publicity Prize for his picture “River Brent-After the Rain” which will be part of this Royal Watercolor Society exhibition at Bankside Gallery.
This annual competition aims to encourage innovation and experimentation in all water-based media and provides a prestigious platform for both established and emerging artists. Successful entries are exhibited from 2 – 14 March 2018 at Bankside Gallery, located next to Tate Modern, in the heart of London’s newest cultural quarter.
The Royal Watercolour Society was founded in 1804 so is even older than The London Group. Past Members include Sir Lawrence Alma-Tadema, E.R. Hughes, William Hunt, Henry Moore and John Singer Sargent.
A few special members are in both groups.
