Designing the catalogue
It was a truly wholesome experience bringing the 2023 Open catalogue to life. Earlier this year, the London Group worked with the brilliant designers at Alphabetical to create our new logo and enhance our promotional material templates, including our catalogue. It was a breeze working within their design, and reassuring to know that each page would ensure the most attractive and sympathetic space to present and celebrate the Open’s artworks. It was a joy to spend time with all 160 artworks in the show, as I carefully sized and placed the images in order. Work like this takes a lot of concentration and a team effort to collate masses of artwork information, so thanks to our Secretary Amy Owen, President Amanda Loomes and Vice-President Darren Nisbett for their support. Thank you, too, for the eagle eyes of Annie Johns, David Redfern, and Tommy Seaward.
