Description
Wells Art Contemporary open international art competition. Artworks are displayed in the gallery around the Cathedral cloisters; and installations within the Cathedral and its grounds. The exhibition is a highlight of Wells cultural life, attracting thousands of visitors each year. 2022 was the 11th edition of WAC. It attracted over 3,200 submissions from 1,600 artists from 47 countries. The judging panel of Mathew Burrows MBE, Dale Lewis and Nana Shiomi selected 120 artworks from 111 artists
