Stephen Carley LG is opening the doors of his studio space this weekend, 11 & 12 May.
Open Up has been celebrating Sheffield’s cultural vibrancy and showcasing some of the city’s up and coming artists and makers for over 25 years. As well as the annual Open Up event we run exhibitions and seek to promote collaboration between artists and makers.
My work is sometimes intentionally confrontational, sometimes intentionally beautiful. I try to avoid associations with art HIStory. This is my ‘punk rock’.
My studio will be open 11am – 5pm for visits on Saturday May 11th and Sunday May 12th
About my studio: Working studio. Work in progress. Some finished pieces on walls / in situ. Specific finished work on display in corridor and studio.
Visitors to the studio will be able to buy my work.
I’m happy to undertake commissions – please ask!
