Chris Horner LG takes part in The Crane Court Gallery Square Mile Summer Exhibition. 1 – 28 August 2025.
Over 50+ British and International contemporary artists are to be exhibiting in this vibrant celebration of creativity. Taking place at this new gallery located in Central London.
The exhibition is on from Friday 1 August and closes on Thursday 28 August, 2025.
Exhibition opening times are Tuesday to Friday 12 – 6pm.
The Private View is on Thursday 31st July, 5 – 8 pm.

This building bag/used cement bag visually demonstrates the importance and value of building bags as an object. The cement bag was worked with on the building site, and then discarded and thrown away in the skip. This is something that happens frequently when working on the job. I want to challenge this kind of wasteful behaviour as an artist, by testing the possibilities of something that is so typically thrown away without thinking. For example, I put this bag through several experimental processes to see how interesting, intriguing, and exciting a building bag could become.
