Inga Tillere

Inga Tillere’s practice explores perception, temporality, and ways of seeing through experimental photographic processes, moving image, text and performance. Her work engages with materiality, light and the passage of time as agents of transformation, occasionally challenging conventional narratives of representation and reality. She is currently pursuing an MA in Fine Art at Falmouth University.

Tillere has exhibited and performed across the UK and internationally, including Copeland Gallery, Four Corners, Gallery 46, Green Lens Studios, Candid Gallery and Hoxton Gallery, London; Star and Shadow Cinema, Newcastle; European Beat Studies Network, Manchester; University of London Institute, Paris; To Pikap and The Residents, Thessaloniki; Atelier Belziger Straße, Berlin; and numerous other venues. In 2025, her cyanotype animation won the Best Music Video, Best Director (music video) and Best Story (music video) at Watch Shorts London film festival.

Together with her partner, writer and musician Johny Brown, she has co-produced two books Field Notes: A Wayward Tale of Radio Joy and The Hours, published by Moloko Print in Germany. Her photographs were included in the book Remote Performances in Nature and Architecture, published by Ashgate and Live Art Development Agency. She has created book covers, album sleeves and music videos for various artists.
