Steve Pettengell

Steve Pettengell is an interdisciplinary artist, his practice interrogates the politics of power within the domestic and the dichotomy between public and private existence – the façade. We rarely see what goes on behind closed doors, but such intimate politics have arguably the most profound impact upon us all.

Pettengell studied at Chelsea School of Art, Glasgow School of Art and Goldsmiths College and has exhibited extensively in the UK and abroad, including The Venice Biennale, Art Basel Miami, and Frieze Week among others. His work is held in private collections in the UK and Europe.
